Deafheaven reveals 2025 North American headline tour with special guests
Deafheaven recently unveiled their plans for a headline tour across North America in 2025 to support their upcoming album “Lonely People With Power.” The tour will incorporate special guests like Gatecreeper and Trauma Ray. The journey will commence on April 19th at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA, with subsequent stops in cities like San Francisco, Vancouver, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Austin, culminating in a two-night spectacle in New York City on May 14th and May 15th.
Fans can access pre-sale tickets beginning today at 12:00 PM ET, with general ticket sales launching on Friday, January 31st, at 10:00 AM local time. Additionally, apart from the tour, Deafheaven is set to perform at various U.S. and international festivals in 2025, including events like Sonic Temple in Columbus, OH (May 9th), Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL (May 15th), Rock am Ring in Nurburg, Germany (June 8th), Outbreakfest in Manchester, United Kingdom (June 14-15th), among others.
The band recently disclosed details about their upcoming album, “Lonely People With Power,” scheduled for release on March 28th through their new label, Roadrunner Records. The album’s lead single, “Magnolia,” is already available on major streaming platforms alongside an official music video directed by Sean Stout and Chelsea Jade.
Recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen and mixed by Zach Weeks of GodCity Studio, “Lonely People With Power” offers a departure from their previous work, “Infinite Granite,” released in 2021. The new album features additional vocal contributions from Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher and Paul Banks of Interpol.
