Profiler Releases Video for New Single “Depth Perception” – Metal Planet Music
PROFILER just dropped their latest single ‘Depth Perception’, along with an accompanying video, off their upcoming deluxe release of their debut album ‘A Digital Nowhere’ due out on February 17th via SharpTone Records.
According to Mike Evans, the track explores the concept of healing from trauma in order to reconnect with those we’ve lost touch with due to past negative experiences, emphasizing the importance of letting go of past negativity.
The Deluxe Edition of ‘A Digital Nowhere’ will include a total of 14 tracks, including hits like ‘Artifice’, ‘Operator’, and ‘Fakers’. Profiler is a Nu-Metal band led by vocalist and guitarist Mike Evans, supported by SharpTone Records, and inspired by genre-defining artists that have paved the way for their unique sound.
Originally a solo project, Profiler has evolved into a full band, boasting members Joe Johnson on bass, Jay Remnants on guitar, and Jacob Andrews on drums. Their music is a blend of nu-metal, grunge, and alternative rock, drawing on the gritty, distorted sounds of the ’90s and 2000s that defined a generation of music.
For fans of the Seattle grunge era and the nu-metal explosion, Profiler’s music offers a nostalgic yet fresh take on these classic genres. With their upcoming deluxe album release and the debut of their new single, ‘Depth Perception’, Profiler is sure to make waves in the rock music scene.
