Jethro Tull Set to Drop New Album ‘Curious Ruminant’ in March

Jethro Tull, the renowned British band with over 50 years of musical history, is on a creative streak with the announcement of their upcoming album. Titled “Curious Ruminant,” this will be their 24th studio album, set to be released on March 7. This follows closely on the heels of their last two albums, “The Zealot Gene” in 2022 and “RökFlöte” in 2023.

The album features a total of nine tracks, with eight of them clocking in at a range of two-and-a-half to six minutes each. The standout track, “Drink from the Same Well,” is over 16 minutes long, promising an epic musical journey for listeners.

Frontman Ian Anderson has led the recording of “Curious Ruminant” with the current lineup of Jethro Tull, along with contributions from two former band members. Anderson showcases his talent by singing lead vocals and playing flute, guitar, and mandolin on the album, in addition to various other instruments.
