Hard-Ons’ Latest Video and US Tour with Guest Vocalist Jerry A of Poison Idea!
Celebrate with The Hard-Ons as they gear up for an exciting year ahead! Fresh off the release of their new video for “Ride to the Station” from the album “I Like You A Lot Getting Older,” they are set to embark on a US tour in May and June, featuring guest vocalist Jerry A from the iconic punk band Poison Idea.
The video for “Ride to the Station” was brought to life by the talented team at Kapow Pictures in Sydney. Inspired by zombie flicks and everyday public transport experiences, the video is a true visual treat animated using cutting-edge VR software. Joining forces with Jerry A, The Hard-Ons will hit the road alongside Napalm Death and the Melvins for a series of shows across the Mid-West and Western states of the USA. This reunion with Jerry A brings back fond memories of their collaborations dating back to the late ’80s and ’90s when they first recorded “The Blade” together. Stay tuned for a new album featuring Jerry A later in 2025.
In 2024, The Hard-Ons marked their 40th anniversary with extensive tours in Europe and Australia, along with the release of their documentary “The Most Australian Band Ever,” which garnered international acclaim including a ‘Best Documentary’ prize at the International LA Punk Film Festival 2024.
“I Like You A Lot Getting Older” is the third album from the band’s current lineup and follows the success of their previous albums “I’m Sorry Sir, That Riff’s Been Taken” and “Ripper ’23.”
