Puddy Set to Debut New Album “Demagogo” at Full Beard Brewing – Jan. 11

Puddy, the stoner rock band hailing from Timmins, is gearing up to release their highly anticipated album “Demagogo.” The band, consisting of Paolo Rizzo, J.V. Bonhomme, Tim Reesor, and Eric Cohen, has been hard at work on this project for the past four to five years. According to Rizzo, the entire band believes that this album is their best work yet.

The album, set to be released on Jan. 18 in Toronto, will first be previewed at a listening party at Full Beard Brewing in Timmins on Jan. 11. Rizzo shared that the album reflects the band’s roots in Timmins and draws inspiration from bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, and Alice in Chains.

Collaborating with industry veterans such as Andy Curran and Vic Florencia, Puddy ensured that the recording process was authentic and true to their sound. Rizzo emphasized that there were no shortcuts taken in the studio, with performances being genuine and raw.

One standout track from the album is “Under Your Tongue,” which showcases Puddy’s unique blend of influences and original sound. This track, along with others on the album, highlights the band’s evolution and growth over the years.

Puddy’s live performances have also earned them a dedicated following, with notable shows opening for Danko Jones and Buckcherry at Rock on the River Festival in Timmins. Their powerful presence on stage and dynamic sound have solidified their place in the rock music scene.
